Description
Our 6″ reproduction primer horn is made of resin and includes a carrying strap and wooden plug. Each primer horn has its own unique markings. No two are alike. Primer Horns were essential tools, used by riflemen to hold fine ground powder to be used for the flint to ignite. Original Primer Horns were made with steer horns and wooden plugs to avoid any metals parts that could cause sparks.
