Baron Friedrich von Steuben, the drillmaster of Valley Forge, was accompanied by his Italian Greyhound, Azor, at the Valley Forge Encampment in 1778. Today, the National Park Service has created the B.A.R.K. Ranger program to help four legged visitors have the best experience at our national parks.
